Quadratum provides, for young men and women, a uniquely demanding and aspirational curriculum focused on the theoretical and generative study of music; the development of thorough self-sufficiency; the enactment of cross-cultural, cross-chronological musics; and a commitment to building community through direct engagement with vulnerable groups or populations in conflict. Whether interested in the weekly program that runs throughout the academic year or the intensive summer camps, you will need to pass a live audition and interview. NB: We are not interested in previous musical training; rather, we are looking for indicators of attitude, teachability, a collaborative mindset, and an inquisitive, even argumentative, mind. Please tell us about yourself below. Quadratum provides a lively but challenging environment, and students should be prepared to experience encouragement with expectations.
