Summer Choral Intensive at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church

A rigorous musical experience where students learn unique choral works spanning centuries and continents in a tandem-taught setting in the beautiful environs of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, located on a five-acre wilderness sanctuary on a quiet street in Buckhead. Students with a known knack for challenging musics and who possess excellent teamwork and leadership traits will thrive in this energetic environment. The camp proper lasts four days (Monday-Thursday) with a concert demonstrating the content at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9th.

Ghanaian Drumming Camps at Westminster

Students learn drumming fundamentals including stick, hand, and bell techniques through playing iconic Ghanaian drum dances of the Ewe, Ga, and Akan peoples on authentic instruments carved in Ghana by master builders. In so doing, they will engage in true team musicking, where every person crucially contributes to the whole. The unique songs that accompany each piece enliven the experience. We are looking for enthusiastic students — no previous musical experience is necessary.

Choral Camp with Marietta Community Schools

This intensive camp establishes and develops rudiments of healthy, effective vocal technique. In conjunction with demystifying music notation and conventions, this builds practical skills that translate to success in advanced choral settings. Students who study with Quadratum all make the highest levels of chorus at their schools and have a perfect record in auditioning for All-State and comparable merit-based achievements. Previous choral experience is welcome but not necessary. We do especially encourage enrollment from students who enjoy challenging work.

Weekly Training

The Weekly Class, 3rd - 6th Grade: $600 per Semester 

Thorough music comprehension through vocal, compositional, and percussive technique; collaborative cooking; and a myriad of direct-impact service experiences. Wednesday weekly training from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Students may be dropped off as early as 3:00 p.m. to do homework, play, read, etc. Dinner, cooked by the 7th through 12th grade students, is served at 6:00 p.m. Younger students staying for dinner should be picked up at 6:30 p.m. Each week on a rotation, two younger students will get to be directly involved in the process of making these dinners.

Musics studied include authentic Ghanaian drumming, South Indian solkattu, American musics spanning Sacred Harp to the New York School, and mystical early sacred choral works from the 12th-16th centuries. Tuition also includes regular service activities, including four meals annually for the Men’s and Women’s Extensions, regular trips to Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center to teach and demonstrate music and do repairs and landscaping; and animal-interactive collaborations with local shelters. Quadratum students are frequently requested to musick in churches, community events, and private functions.


Quadratum 7th-12th grade "early bird" tuition with Ski Trip: Register by May 18th, 2026

Wednesday weekly training. Rising 7th-12th grade students may arrive as early as 3:00 p.m. to do homework, go on a run, read, and make dinner. Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. and rehearsal proper begins at 6:30 p.m., running until 8:30 p.m. Tuition includes dinner. Musics studied include authentic Ghanaian drumming, South Indian solkattu, American musics spanning Sacred Harp to the New York School, and transcendent early sacred choral works from the 12th-16th centuries. Tuition also includes regular service activities: making and serving four meals annually for the Men’s and Women’s Extensions; regular trips to Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center to teach and demonstrate music and do repairs and landscaping; and critter-interactive collaborations with local animal shelters. Quadratum students are frequently requested to musick for churches, community events, and private functions. This early bird rate includes tuition for the annual Ski Trip (December 28th - January 1st) as well. If you are interested in the class alone, please choose the “Class Only “ option. Paying the deposit by May 18th locks in the Early Bird rate for the year. Final balance is due by December 1st. Note: paying with check, cash, or Zelle eliminates online transaction fees.
