Quadratum 6th-12th grade annual tuition (includes winter Ski Trip): $3500
Wednesday weekly training: Rising 6th-12th grade students may arrive as early as 3:00 p.m. to do homework, go on a run, read, and make dinner. Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. and rehearsal proper begins at 6:30 p.m., running until 8:30 p.m. Tuition includes dinner. Musics studied include authentic Ghanaian drumming, South Indian solkattu, American musics spanning Sacred Harp to the New York School, and transcendent early sacred choral works from the 12th-16th centuries. Tuition also includes attendance on regular service activities: making and serving four meals annually for the Men’s and Women’s Extensions; regular trips to Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center to teach and demonstrate music and do repairs and landscaping; and critter-interactive collaborations with local animal shelters. These projects are funded through Quadratum Foundation, the non-profit wing which exclusively subvents service projects and tours. Quadratum students are frequently requested to musick for churches, community events, and private functions. This tuition also covers the annual Ski Trip (December 28th - January 1st). If you are interested in the class alone, please go back and choose the “Class Only “ option. $500 deposit required at time of registration. Final balance is due by December 1st. Note: paying with check, cash, or Zelle eliminates online transaction fees.
